Sal Calanni
Sal comes to the West Coast from the sunny, enchanting shores of Lake Erie where sits a town called Cleveland. He was working in a biomed lab in Cleveland cleaning various sizes of rabbit and rat feces. And then one day, for some reason, he felt unfulfilled, and decided to pack up his rusty, 2-door, hooptie Chevy Cavalier, and head for California with no job in mind and no place to stay. He ended up in San Francisco, and although it lacked in the same picturesque views as his hometown of Cleveland, he made it his new home and ended up finding comfort in comedy. For the past few years, he has performed all over the Bay Area. Sal’s comedy paints pictures to audiences with a whirlwind of characters. He enjoys describing his Italian background, well actually Sicilian, lot of people don’t count that as Italian. He also likes to express his opinions on race, politics, and whatever else is real to him on this rollercoaster ride we call life.
Omied Far
Omied Far grew up a poor boy in Mississippi. He may be short on talent but he’s long on dreams. He’s also very handsome, according to his mother.
Geordie Martinez

Geordie Martinez is half Irish and half Mexican. This unique cultural mix makes him a Mickican. He has a proclivity for drinking too much tequila and getting into fistfights with himself. Geordie’s unique sense of comedy is divined from thousands of hours spent studying graphic novels and dungeon-mastering. Geordie is the “Bugs Bunny & Roadrunner Hour” wildcard of the sketch comedy group Tossing Alice. As a living cartoon, he has a wicked ability to create sound effects and imitate voices. A true triple threat, Geordie is “pleased as punch” to be a charter member of Tossing Alice.
On a side note, he likes to surf craigslist for M4M ads and thinks no one knows he’s doing it. He thinks if he flushes the cache on the browser, it’s all cool and no one will know what he’s doing. But we know. We know everything.
Katie Motta

Katie came to Tossing Alice with experience in Improv performance. The only girl of the group, she captures the audience because she is so charming and fun to be around.
Paul Trask

Paul is the son of poor Mormon immigrants. Paul has a strong work ethic, and a workman’s hands. But mostly, Paul has wives. And we like all his wives. Especially the cute red head in the gingham skirt. What’s her name again? How do I become an "elder," Paul?
Greg Edwards

Greg Edwards was born and raised in Hampton VA. He left his country home to pursue his dream of being an actor/comedian in 2001. The big city lights of Oakland and San Francisco has made Greg Edwards The best black comedian in the Bay Area. Southern hospitality and life experience is his inspiration for comedy, If Greg is on stage you better expect real in your face comedy.
